Athletic Background

I dabbled in rec league soccer and swimming in junior high and high school but didn’t find that I loved it enough to try that hard. I also took dance lessons for many years.

Bio

I was born and raised in the Buffalo suburbs, but I most recently lived in Charlotte NC. I have a deep love of science, particularly biology, which has resulted in me living in various cities on the East Coast as I moved for schools or jobs. I spent 3 years skating with the Charlotte Roller Girls before a job looking at antibiotic resistant bacteria in the military health system brought me to DC.
