The first bout of the DC Rollergirls’ December 8 doubleheader saw the Cherry Blossom Bombshells facing off against the Majority Whips in what was unarguably the most exciting bout so far of Season 7. The Bombshells gained a sizable lead thanks to a couple of well-played back-to-back jams in the first half, but the Whips spent the rest of the bout chipping away at it, ultimately taking the lead with mere minutes left to play. It all came down to the final jam, where star Bombshell jammer Yankee Scandal brought home the 123-117 victory for her team.
